DPM Ishaq Dar meets Chinese Ambassador to discuss bilateral ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong to discuss bilateral matters and exchange views on regional and international developments. Dar emphasised the importance of maintaining momentum in high-level engagements and further strengthening Pakistan–China cooperation. Separately, he directed federal and provincial authorities to closely monitor prices and supplies of essential commodities ahead of the holy month of Ramazan.

ISLAMABAD:

FM Ishaq Dar and Ambassador of China to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong on Tuesday discussed bilateral issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on evolving regional and international developments.

During a meeting at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the DPM/FM underscored importance of sustaining momentum of high-level exchanges and further strengthening Pak-China bilateral cooperation, the Foreign Office Spokespersons said in a press release.

Separately, Dar directed the federal and provincial authorities to continue close monitoring main essential commodities, particularly in view of the approaching month of Ramazan.
