Energy Sector has the Potential to Benefit Investors, Says Omar Ayub
Minister for Power and Petroleum, Omar Ayub met with Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing to discuss matters of mutual interests in the energy sector of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Minister Ayub, reaffirmed Chinese Ambassador about the energy sector's profitability and business opportunities. Ayub termed it as one of the fast-emerging competitive markets. Minister acknowledged that China's CPEC investment gave confidence to other investors and now they are also finding Pakistan suitable for investment.

He was talking to Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing, who called on him, in Islamabad today (Thursday).
Matters relating to mutual interest especially on Pak-China Cooperation in the energy sector were discussed during the meeting.
Omar Ayub Khan told the Chinese Ambassador that Pakistan is looking forward to further boost the existing relations between the two countries to new dimensions.
He said execution of energy projects under CPEC has in fact encouraged other investors as well.
