First Lady Inaugurates China-Pakistan Friendship Computer Lab in Islamabad

First lady Mrs Samina Alvi while inaugurating ,"China-Pakistan friendship computer lab" in Islamabad, said the friendship between China and Pakistan is of great value for Pakistan. She also noted that Sino-Pak friendship helped in preserving peace and stability in the region. The first lady further said that Pakistanis cannot forget what China has done for their progress and development over the years. She appreciated China's gift of a computer lab which is installed in a school in Islamabad. On this occasion, Mrs Lou Xinyu, spouse of Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, in her address, said that China will keep collaborating with Pakistan and will give the latest technology and other resources to help Pakistani students.

First lady Samina Alvi says China and Pakistan are great friends and would continue cooperation in various fields.

She made these remarks while inaugurating “China-Pakistan friendship computer lab” at Mohsin Murtaza Shaheed Model School for boys, G-6/4 in Islamabad on Monday.

She said the friendship between Pakistan and China is very important and valuable. She said the cooperation between Pakistan and China helped maintain peace in the region.

She said that the Pakistanis could not possibly forget what China has done for their nation over the years. She said we have to learn the innovative measure by the Chinese government on poverty alleviation so as to improve Pakistani’s people livelihood.

Samina Alvi said that the present government is spending billions of rupees to raise standard of education and enable the students to face future challenges.

The lady thanked the Chinese embassy for establishment of computer lab and said it would provide a platform to the students for their creative writing endeavors, study and research.

She said the institute after equipping with the latest facilities had transformed into an effective knowledge center for the students. She said computer lab would produce able force which would help them in getting jobs easily.

The first lady asked the students to work hard as the government is spending its precious resources on their studies.

Speaking on the occasion, spouse of Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Mrs. Lou Xinyu said the china would continue its cooperation for providing latest technology and other facilities to the Pakistani students.

Later, the First lady inaugurated a 31 computer lab equipped with advanced technology for the students.
