FM Bilawal Bhutto departs for India to attend SCO moot

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has departed for Goa, India to represent his country at the 2023 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. The invitation to attend the meeting was extended by India’s Minister for External Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, who currently chairs the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers. The Foreign Office has stated that Pakistan’s participation in the summit demonstrates its dedication to the SCO’s charter and procedures, and emphasizes the significance that Islamabad places on the region as a foreign policy priority.
