Govt taking steps to augment agricultural processing capabilities: PM Kakar
Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized Pakistan’s efforts to enhance agricultural production, processing capabilities, and exports during a meeting with a delegation from China Oil and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO), led by President Luan Richeng in Beijing. He highlighted the government’s initiatives to develop the agriculture sector, including its inclusion in the Special Investment Facilitation Council, and welcomed the Chinese delegation’s keen interest in investing in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has said Pakistan is not only trying to increase the agricultural production but also taking steps to augment its processing capabilities and boost exports.
He was talking to a delegation of China Oil and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO) led by President Luan Richeng in Beijing today.
The Prime Minister said that the government is taking measures for the development of the agriculture sector, while the sector has also been included in the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
The Chinese delegation expressed deep interest in investing in Pakistan, which was welcomed by the Prime Minister.
