This transformation is underscored by the completion of key CPEC projects, including the new Gwadar International Airport (230 million dollars), East Bay Expressway (179 million dollars), Gwadar Port (300 million dollars), China-Pakistan Friendship Hospital (100 million dollars), Gwadar Vocational Training Center (10 million dollars), gwadar Water Desalination Plant (12.7 million dollars), Free Zones 1 and 2 (spanning 2,281 acres), and the Green Palms Gwadar Housing Scheme (covering 1,065 acres).
