Inaugural ceremony marks launch of Chinese news service at Pakistan’s APP
The Chinese Embassy’s Charge d’Affaires, Pang Chunxue, and Pakistan’s Information Minister, Marriyum Aurangzeb, jointly inaugurated the Chinese News Service at the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) in Islamabad. This move was praised by Ms. Pang as a significant reflection of the strong bilateral relationship between China and Pakistan. During her visit to the Premier News Agency in Pakistan, she received a warm welcome from various officials, including Managing Director Muhammad Asim Khichi and other senior members of APP.

During her visit to Pakistan’s Premier News Agency, Ms. Pang praised the establishment of the Chinese News Service, highlighting its importance as a reflection of the robust bilateral relations between China and Pakistan. The occasion saw a warm welcome for Ms. Pang, with Managing Director Muhammad Asim Khichi, Incharge Chinese News Service Furqan Rao, Executive Director News Hanif Sabir, Director News Shahid Saleem, General Secretary APP Employees Union Nadeem Iqbal, Vice President Munibah Iftekhar, and other senior officials of APP extending their hospitality.
