Ishaq Dar in China to attend SCO foreign ministers’ meeting
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has arrived in Beijing to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting. He was received by senior Chinese officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador to China. During his visit, he will lead Pakistan’s delegation at the meeting in Tianjin, meet the Chinese President along with other SCO foreign ministers, and hold bilateral talks with his counterparts from member countries.
Beijing: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in the Chinese capital, Beijing, to participate in the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Upon arrival at Beijing Airport, he was received by Ambassador Ms. Yu Hong from the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil ur Rehman Hashmi, and senior Chinese foreign ministry officials.
During his official visit, Senator Ishaq Dar will lead the Pakistani delegation at the CFM meeting of the SCO to be held tomorrow in Tianjin.
On this occasion, he will also meet the President of China along with other SCO foreign ministers and hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from member states of the organization.
