JWG on Science and Technology under CPEC to meet today

The meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on Science and Technology under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will be held today. Pakistani and Chinese sides will review the projects under this category and recommendations will be provided by the experts. This JWG was established when President Arif Alvi paid a state visit to China on March 16 and 17. The leadership of the two countries met and agreed to further promote the development of CPEC. In this regard, an MoU was signed to set up two new working groups on science, technology, and agriculture, under the framework of CPEC.
