Launch of Rashakai SEZ a historic moment: Asim Bajwa
Chairman CPEC Authority, Asim Saleem Bajwa called the commercial launch of Rashakai SEZ a historic moment and said that under CPEC Phase 2, industrialisation through establishing export oriented SEZs will be carried out. He also said that special training of workers as per specific industry needs will be done through 3 technological institutes in the vicinity of Rashakai. According to an official statement, the GoP has said that the expected economic impact from Rashakai SEZ will be worth USD 30 billion and will lead to industrialization and sustainable economic growth. Moreover, the statement highlights that automobiles and parts, processing and manufacturing, construction related material, home appliances, and pharmaceuticals’ industries will get maximum benefits.
