Media Delegation lauds Karot Hydropower Project as a key CPEC initiative for clean energy
A delegation of media representatives and parliamentarians visited the Karot Hydropower Project, a key CPEC initiative generating 720 MW of clean electricity and reducing 3.5 million tons of CO₂ emissions annually. Developed under the Power Policy 2002 on a 30-year BOOT basis, the $1.74 billion project enhances energy security, supports industrial growth, and has created thousands of local jobs.
