Multan-Sukkur (M-5) Motorway to Open for Traffic Today
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Communications, the National Highway Authority (NHA) will grant entry to light traffic on M-5 Motorway. This Six lane Multan-Sukkur Motorway will not only reduce travelling time but speed up growth in the industrial and especially the agricultural sector. A 392 km Multan-Sukkur Motorway is CPEC's largest transportation infrastructure project. M-5 road will contribute to the socio-economic uplift of people in Punjab and Sindh.
The recently completed Multan-Sukkur Motorway (M-5) which is 392 kilometers long, will be opened for light traffic on Friday, according to a press release issued by National Highway Authority’s Ministry of Communications. Consisting of six lanes, the Multan-Sukkur Motorway is an integral link of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, (CPEC) that will reduce the travelling time between the two cities by a considerable extent. M-5 will not only accelerate industrial growth, but the agricultural sector will also benefit at large. The M-5 will pave the way for a socio-economic uplift in Punjab and Sindh.
