Over 99% work on Mansehra-Thakot road under CPEC completes
The pace of ongoing China Pakistan Economic Corridor, a flagship project of BRI, is commendable. Chairman CPEC authority Gen. (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa has informed that over 99 per cent work on 80 km Mansehra -Thakot section of 118 km long Thakot-Havelian Motorway, one of the early harvest projects of CPEC, has been completed and it will become operational soon after the final touches.
With the completion of construction work on Mansehra -Thakot road, the Havelian-Thakot of the Karakoram Highway Phase II (KKH) will accelerate the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
