Pakistan and China signed 700.7 MW Azad Pattan Power Project under CPEC

Pakistan and China have signed the agreement for the 700.7 MW Azad Pattan Hydro Power Project under the framework of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The ceremony was attended by Asad Umar, minister for planning, development, and special Initiatives, Omar Ayub, Minister for Energy, Asim Bajwa, Chairman CPEC Authority, Farooq Haider Khan, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. From the Chinese side, China Gezhouba Group/ Larab Group signed the agreement.
