Pakistan, China reaffirm commitment to deepen strategic ties and regional cooperation
Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation aimed at promoting regional peace, stability, and development. This shared resolve was emphasized during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, held on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Tianjin. The two leaders engaged in comprehensive discussions covering key areas of mutual interest, particularly the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and broader multilateral collaboration. Both sides underscored the enduring strength of the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and expressed satisfaction over the ongoing close cooperation in diverse sectors.
