Pakistan, China vow to successful implementation of ML-1 project

Pakistan and China have affirmed their dedication to the successful execution of the ML-1 project, as reiterated during a meeting between Minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad. Minister Tarar emphasized the project’s consistent priority for the government and underscored the current political will to translate these priorities into tangible on-ground developments. He commended Chinese expertise and participation in the ML-1 project. Ambassador Zaidong emphasized the project’s foundation on mutual understanding and its crucial role in fostering cooperation and development, expressing full commitment to joint efforts for the project’s swift realization.

Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to the successful implementation of the ML-1 project.

This came during a meeting between Minister for Communication, Maritime Affairs and Railways, Shahid Ashraf Tarar and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad today.

Shahid Ashraf Tarar reiterated that the ML-1 project has consistently remained the top priority for the Government, emphasizing the current political will to translate these priorities into tangible on-ground developments.

The Minister expressed admiration for the Chinese expertise and participation in the ML-1 project.

Ambassador Jiang Zaidong highlighted the project’s foundation on mutual understanding and underscored its integral role in fostering cooperation and development. He said we are fully committed to working with the Pakistani side, and our joint efforts aim to accelerate the realization of the ML-1 project.
