Pakistan to diversify bilateral cooperation under CPEC: Dr Moeed Yusuf
Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Security Division Dr Moeed Yusuf during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong, said that apart from government-to government interactions, people-to-people connectivity between Pakistan and China should also be given due emphasis. He called for enhancing the linkages among Think-tanks and academia of two countries. Moreover, he said that under CPEC, Pakistan will continue to diversity bilateral cooperation with China.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister s Special Assistant on National Security Division Dr Moeed Yusuf has said Pakistan will continue to build bilateral cooperation in various areas under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Talking to Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong in Islamabad on Friday, he said both countries enjoy special relations and these ties will continue to grow.
Regarding cooperation in different areas, Dr Moeed Yusuf said that collaboration between the thinktanks in the two countries should be improved to promote dialogue among them.
The Chinese Ambassador said Pakistan-China relations should not be limited to government level but should be expanded to interaction among the citizens of the two countries.
He hoped to take Pakistan-China relations to new heights by improving collaboration, cooperation and partnership in various fields.
