Pakistan’s medical and precision instruments exports to China surge to over $11 million in 2025
Pakistan’s exports of medical, surgical, and precision instruments to China exceeded $11.41 million in 2025, reflecting steady growth in higher-value manufacturing trade, according to Chinese customs data. Medical and veterinary instruments remained the largest category despite a slight decline, while dental instruments rose 6 percent to $4.05 million. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Hubei emerged as key destinations, with strong demand from hospitals and distributors. Exports of ophthalmic instruments surged 65 percent, signaling a shift toward more advanced medical devices. Pakistani exporters believe greater participation in major Chinese medical exhibitions could significantly expand market access and boost exports by up to 50 percent over the next three years.
