PM Kakar terms CPEC as landmark project in development history of Pak-China relations
During a meeting in Beijing, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), Luo Zhaohui, met with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar. The Prime Minister praised the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for its role in fostering economic progress and regional connectivity over the past decade. They discussed collaboration on various socio-economic development projects within the CPEC framework, covering areas such as agriculture, health, education, vocational education, water supply, and poverty alleviation. The Prime Minister welcomed CIDCA’s projects in Pakistan, and Chairman Luo reiterated CIDCA’s long-term commitment to high-quality CPEC development.

The Prime Minister lauded the vision of connectivity and partnership behind CPEC and the fruits it has borne over the last ten years in terms of economic milestones for Pakistan. He termed CPEC as a landmark project in the development history of Pakistan-China relations, which will bring economic progress and prosperity to Pakistan and contribute to regional connectivity and development.
The Prime Minister and Chairman Luo discussed collaboration in socio-economic development projects under the CPEC framework in agriculture, health, education, vocational education, water supply and poverty alleviation.
Chairman CIDCA welcomed the Prime Minister’s proposal for the swift implementation of CIDCA’s projects in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister appreciated the dynamic partnership between Pakistan and CIDCA and especially commended CIDCA’s strong commitment to development projects in Pakistan.
Chairman Luo assured the Prime Minister of CIDCA’s long-term commitment to high-quality development of CPEC.
