PM Shehbaz congratulates China on Hong Kong’s 25th handover anniversary

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the Chinese President Xi Jinping and the people of China on 25th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China. He said Hong Kong was the perfect example of the successful implementation of “One country, two systems”. It is pertinent to mention here that The British Empire in the Far East came to an end on July 1, 1997, when Britain formally returned Hong Kong to China.
