PM Shehbaz Sharif hails China-Pakistan friendship, endorses President Xi’s Global Development Initiative

During an interview with Chinese media, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed admiration for the strong bond of friendship and “unwavering brotherhood” that has united the Chinese and Pakistanis through thick and thin for many years. The PM expressed his belief that the 20th CPC National Congress will have significant positive outcomes for China and the world, and praised President Xi Jinping as a “visionary and dynamic” leader with great wisdom and foresight. He also highlighted the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative in bringing prosperity to the people and announced Pakistan’s endorsement of Xi’s Global Development Initiative.
