PM to lay the foundation stone of Allama Iqbal Industrial City under CPEC today
Prime Minister Imran Khan would launch the Allama Iqbal Industrial City, in Faisalabad today. The 4,000 acres M3 Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is located in the Faisalabad city of Punjab. It should be noted that worth Rs 357 billion local and international investment would be utilised in the several projects of Allama Iqbal Industrial Estate. Chairman Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIDMC), Mian Kashif Ashfaq stated earlier that FIDMC is projected to generate 250,000 employment opportunities in Punjab. The M3 Faisalabad SEZ would be the first among three prioritised SEZs to be launched in 2020.

Talking to newsmen in Faisalabad, Chairman Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company, Mian Kashif Ashfaq said Allama Iqbal Industrial City has been planned over an area of four thousand acres.
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the first shelter home in Faisalabad, which has been constructed over four kanal area.
