President, Prime Minister express grief over China coal mine blast

In a statement, President Zardari conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to President of China, Xi Jinping, the bereaved families and the people of China over the tragic accident.
President Asif Ali Zardari said the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with their Chinese brothers and sisters during this difficult time. He also expressed sympathy with those injured in the accident and prayed for their early recovery.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in a social media post on X, also expressed profound grief and sorrow over tragic explosion at a coal mine in Shanxi province of China.
He said people of Pakistan stand in full solidarity with their Chinese brothers and sisters at this time of grief and sorrow.
