Project management unit is established for smooth execution of ML-1: Chairman CPEC authority

Chairman CPEC authority Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa informed that Pakistan railway has set up a railway management unit for the smooth implementation of Main-Line 1(ML-1) project under the CPEC. On the other hand, the continued bilateral negotiations on financial matter of ML-1 are structured and making good progress. The project will be presented to the Central Development Working Party (CDW) after incorporating all observations raised. He further underlined the significance of capacity building of the project and said restructuring of railway system has been planned to improve the efficiency of railway system.
