Punjab’s Caretaker CM Mohsin Naqvi embarks on key China visit for economic ties
Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has embarked on a five-day official visit to China with a primary focus on enhancing economic and technological cooperation. This visit follows the interim prime minister’s departure for the US for a diplomatic visit. During his time in China, CM Naqvi is set to meet with Chinese traders, investment firms, and industrial leaders, as well as engage in discussions with Chinese authorities to explore collaboration opportunities in agriculture and information technology. The mission’s objective is to foster mutual growth and partnership between Punjab and China, aiming to provide better facilities to the people of Punjab, as stated by Mohsin Naqvi before his departure.

Earlier today, the interim prime minister also left for the US on a diplomatic visit. He is scheduled to address the General Assembly session on Friday.
During his visit, the interim CM Naqvi is scheduled to hold meetings with Chinese traders, investment firms, and industrial leaders. Additionally, he will engage in discussions with Chinese authorities to explore avenues for collaboration in the fields of agriculture and information technology.
An official statement highlighted the objective of this diplomatic mission, which aims to identify opportunities for mutual growth and partnership between Punjab and China.
“The visit to China will give an opportunity to provide better facilities to the people of Punjab”, Mohsen Naqvi said ahead of his departure on Sunday.
