Railway, road infrastructure vital for development of tourism in Pakistan: PM Kakar
Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar discussed infrastructure development and the significance of railway and road projects for Pakistan’s tourism with Chinese company CEOs in Beijing. The CEOs highlighted their ongoing projects in Pakistan under CPEC and expressed interest in expanding investments in various sectors, including infrastructure, construction, and renewable energy. The Prime Minister welcomed the increased investment interest from Chinese firms.
Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar says the government is taking steps for the development of infrastructure across the country.
He was talking to CEO of China Communications Construction Company Wang Haihuai and Chairman China Road and Bridge Corporation Du Fei in Beijing on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said that railway and road infrastructure is very important for Pakistan and the development of tourism in the country.
The participants informed the Prime Minister about the ongoing projects of China Communications Construction Company and China Road and Bridge Corporation in Pakistan under CPEC.
They expressed keen interest in increasing their investment in infrastructure, construction, renewable energy and other sectors in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister welcomed the interest of Chinese companies in increasing investment in Pakistan.
