Senate Chairman meets prominent Chinese leader, discusses strong bilateral ties in Beijing

The Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, met with H.E Mr. Wang Huning, Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), in Beijing. Chairman Senate congratulated Mr. Wang on his election and praised China for the Belt and Road Forum. He emphasized the strong friendship between China and Pakistan and appreciated China’s stance on Kashmir and Palestine. The importance of strengthening parliamentary exchanges and an invitation for Mr. Wang to visit Pakistan were discussed. Chairman Wang expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support, emphasized economic cooperation, and highlighted people-to-people connections. The meeting was part of Chairman Senate’s visit to Beijing for an international symposium commemorating the 10th Anniversary of President Xi’s concept of “Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit, and Inclusiveness in Neighbourhood Diplomacy.”
