Turkmenistan 1st Central Asian country to reach Gwadar port
Turkmenistan will become the first Central Asian country to access Gwadar port under CPEC, with an agreement soon to be signed. A committee has been formed to review the draft agreement between Gwadar Port and Turkmenbashi Port. Both countries are also collaborating on projects like the TAPI pipeline, rail track, and fiber connectivity to link South and Central Asia.
Turkmenistan is set to become the first Central Asian country to gain access to Gwadar port under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Pakistan and Turkmenistan will soon sign an agreement in this regard.
The government has constituted a committee to examine the draft agreement between Gwadar Port and Turkmenbashi Port under CPEC.
The two countries are already working on various joint projects including TAPI pipeline, rail track and fiber connectivity to connect the regions of South and Central Asia.
