PM Khan hopeful that CPEC SEZs will generate employment opportunities

While chairing the 7th meeting of the Board of Approvals for Special Economic Zones, Prime minister Imran Khan stressed the need for industrial development under CPEC phase two. He emphasized that economic activities generated by these special economic zones in Pakistan will create job opportunities for local skilled and unskilled labor. The BOA approved SEZ Zone Enterprise Admission & Sale /Lease of Plot Regulations 2020 and launching of online SEZ MIS Module. The module will help real investors, from all corners of the world, in getting admitted into the SEZs without placing any reliance on 3rd party. Moreover, the meeting awarded the status of Sole Enterprise SEZ to Siddiqsons Tin Plate in Balochistan and Service Long March Tyre Special Economic Zone, Jamshoro.
