University of Gwadar and PCTVI announced free courses for local students
The Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute (PCTVI) and the University of Gwadar are offering three-month certificate courses for young people in Gwadar to prepare them for employment in the modern labor market. The courses are free and conducted with the National Vocation and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program. The University of Gwadar, with the help of NAVTTC, is providing a three-month “Amazon Virtual Assistant” program to local students, which is open to both male and female students. The PCTVI, funded by the Chinese Government’s grant under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), is a state-of-the-art facility located in the port city of Gwadar.
