Chairman Senate assures timely completion of CPEC during meeting with Chinese Embassy delegation
During a meeting with a three-member delegation from the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan led by China’s Charge d’Affaires Pang Chunxue, Chairman of the Senate Sadiq Sanjrani reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the timely completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The Chairman emphasized that CPEC has created new employment opportunities for the youth through China’s investment in Pakistan. He further added that the successful completion of CPEC would lead to the development of the entire region, and those who oppose the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor will not succeed in their malicious intentions. The meeting took place in Islamabad today.

He was talking to a three-member delegation of Chinese Embassy in Pakistan headed by China’s Charge d’Affaires Pang Chunxue, who called on him in Islamabad today.
The Chairman said China’s investment in Pakistan under CPEC has provided new employment opportunities to the youth.
He said with the completion of CPEC, the entire region will develop and the elements opposed to the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor will never succeed in their nefarious purposes.
Sadiq Sanjrani said the government is taking all measures to protect Chinese citizens.
The Chairman also appreciated China’s key role in establishing good relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
