Searle’s bold move: Collaborates with Jiangxi Nuotai to redefine nutrition in Pakistan
Pakistan’s Searle Company has inked a strategic partnership with Jiangxi Nuotai Biotechnology Limited in Yichun, China, solidifying a collaborative effort in infant and adult nutrition. The five-year agreement outlines joint efforts, with the Chinese company handling trademark registration and local manufacturing, while Searle Company manages imports, sales, and after-sales services. This venture aims to propel advancements in the nutrition industry and is poised to address specific health needs in Pakistan.
In a significant move for the nutrition industry, Pakistan’s Searle Company has officially entered into a cooperation agreement with Jiangxi Nuotai Biotechnology Limited in Yichun, China. The comprehensive partnership, signed on January 9th, will extend over the next five years, focusing on collaborative efforts in both infant and adult nutrition.
Under the terms of the agreement, Jiangxi Nuotai Biotechnology Limited will spearhead trademark registration and manufacturing of the collaborative products within China. Simultaneously, Searle Company, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical sector in Pakistan with an extensive international presence spanning 18 countries, will assume responsibility for imports, sales, and after-sales service of the joint nutritional offerings.
Expressing optimism about the collaboration, a representative from Searle Company highlighted the potential impact on the Pakistani populace, stating, “This cooperation will provide more nutritious supplementary food for children in Pakistan and offer sugar-free nutritional products for the large diabetic population in the region.”
The collaboration is anticipated not only to enhance bilateral cooperation in the nutrition sector between Pakistan and China but also to lay the groundwork for the global promotion of the collaborative products. Jiangxi Nuotai’s representative affirmed this, stating, “This partnership will not only accelerate the cooperation between Pakistan and China in the nutrition sector but also pave the way for the global promotion of our collaborative products.” The joint effort is poised to bring about advancements and innovations in the ever-evolving landscape of the nutrition industry.
