DPM Ishaq Dar highlights 75 Years of ‘iron-clad’ Pak-China friendship, CPEC enters new phase of high-quality development
Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar highlighted that over the past 75 years, Pakistan and China have maintained a strong tradition of mutual respect, trust, and cooperation, with their “iron-clad friendship” continuing to deepen. Marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2026, he emphasized close collaboration on core interests, economic and industrial development, and the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), including agricultural cooperation and training programs for Pakistani experts. Dar noted that Chinese technology, new energy, and industrial investments are benefiting Pakistan, while joint space initiatives, such as satellite launches and an upcoming astronaut mission, showcase deep scientific cooperation. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for China on core issues, including the One-China policy, and stressed that regional stability, dialogue, and shared development are key for lasting peace and prosperity.
