China-Afghanistan-Pakistan held 3rd Foreign Vice Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue

On July 7, 2020, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui, Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Mirwais Nab and Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood co-chaired the China -Afghanistan-Pakistan 3rd Trilateral Strategic Dialogue. During a series of discussions, all sides reiterated their commitment to strengthening communication and coordination and enhancing mutual trust. On COVID-19 cooperation, three sides strongly rejected any kind of discrimination against any particular country and advocated idea of ‘Global response against COVID-19’ and promotion of international cooperation. The three sides expressed readiness to carry out trilateral practical cooperation in flexible manners, and keep exploring new fields of cooperation, with a view to accumulating outcomes for the 4th China-Afghanistan-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue.
