China appreciates Pakistan’s constructive role in advancing peace in region

ISLAMABAD, Apr 8 (APP): Ambassador of China to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong on Wednesday called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and conveyed the deep appreciation of the Government of China for Pakistan’s constructive role in advancing peace and security in the Middle East and the Gulf region. The DPM/FM underscored Pakistan’s sustained commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy as essential means for achieving lasting peace and stability in the Middle East and West Asia. Both sides expressed the hope that ongoing efforts would lead to durable peace and security in the region, in the interest of all parties.
