Pakistan, China continue to strengthen cooperation in various sectors of economy
Pakistan and China have agreed to further their cooperation in various sectors of the economy. Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing and Pakistan’s Finance Adviser Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh have discussed the prospects of bilateral economic relations. The Finance Adviser expressed sincere gratitude to the Chinese government for medical goods and services to help Pakistan fight COVID-19. Ambassador Yao Jing reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen the bilateral cooperative relations between two countries and vowed unflinching support to help Pakistan combat the COVID-19.

This understanding was reached during a meeting between Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing and Finance Adviser Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Finance Adviser thanked the Chinese government for providing medical treatment to corona-hit patients and medical equipment to Pakistan to deal with the situation caused by the coronavirus.
The Chinese Ambassador expressed chines government’s pledge that it will extend all possible assistance to Pakistan to further strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries and to deal with the situation caused by the Coronavirus.
