Pak-China ties remained resilient, ‘iron-clad’ for 75 years: Chinese Diplomat
At a seminar in Islamabad marking 75 years of Pakistan-China relations, speakers described the partnership as an “iron-clad” strategic relationship built on mutual trust, sovereign equality, and shared development goals. Organized by the China-Pakistan Study Centre at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad, the event highlighted the historical depth of bilateral ties, China’s policy of non-interference, and Pakistan’s consistent support for China on international issues. Speakers emphasized expanding cooperation in diplomacy, defence, infrastructure, energy, technology, education, and people-to-people exchanges. Participants identified CPEC as the cornerstone of Pakistan-China cooperation, highlighting its transformative impact on energy, connectivity, and economic development from Gilgit to Gwadar. Discussions focused on “CPEC 2.0,” with future collaboration expected in industrialization, agriculture, SEZs, AI, green development, innovation, space technology, and regional connectivity. Speakers also stressed the importance of strengthening strategic communication, vocational and educational exchanges, and cooperation on regional peace and global multilateralism.
